I am very fond of all the homemade food we used to have as kids which is not being prepared too often lately at home nor is it available at stores. Another generation and a lot of it will be lost for good. We(our family) have discussed umpteen times that it would be sad to see that happen, and that we should do something to keep the legacy alive and kicking.That's how "Awesome Bangalorean Cuisine" started.

"KadaleBeLe Chutney Pudi" is mainly made up of Split pea, which is high in protein and low in its fat content. It is also known to contain some of the highest amount of fiber. Another main component is Black gram, which is again high in its protein content. It is added with some spices, and blended into a powder, to get a ready-to-eat, healthy side-dish.
This dish makes an awesome companion for Chapathis, idli, dosa, rice and many more!
